Planahome.uk.com is the trading name used by Residential Design in order to promote our extensive range of standard and bespoke house plans being offered for sale over the web.

Residential Design was established in early 1992 primarily to offer a specialist design service to speculative housing development companies in the North West of England. Currently there are many of our designs, or derivatives, being constructed throughout the UK on a daily basis; a fact of which we are justifiably very proud.

The self-build tradition has always been very strong throughout this country and we have found an increasing number of clients approaching us with requirements for something a little different; also more adventurous than the standard offerings by the major speculative developers.

To be fair it must be remembered that the majority of larger developers have to cater for the mass housing market, where selling price and specification are of prime importance; as a result more adventurous design aspects have to take a back seat. We have been able to redress the balance a little by designing dream homes for many satisfied clients over the past few years.

We have therefore taken the next step, into the 21st Century, and are offering our standard designs for sale to you over the web; in order that you may have the new home dreamed of for so long. You will see, from the various examples, that there is a wide span of standard designs available; from terraced and semi-detached houses of quite modest size up to very spacious houses and bungalows.
